Heylo! I'm Avelyn — I also go by Jae Won Lin. I’m a final-year university student and a creative director, producer, artist and designer based in Seoul, South Korea.
My works spans across performance, visual art, design, and technology. Right now, I’m working on launching a design studio (exciting details coming soon!) that focus on creating visually engaging and emotionally resonant experiences — immersive works that blur the lines between art, technology and storytelling.
I’m also the founder of The Potato Lab 82°, a multidisciplinary collaborative art collective est. in 2025, and the Potato Lab Collective°, a Seoul-based growing community for "creatives-in-progress". My reasons for starting The Potato Lab company were very much inspired by my own experience weathering the difficulties that independent creatives face trying to make it in this city while knowing nothing and no one.
My vision is to change that scene, to break borders; foster collaboration, opportunity and innovation among creative minds in the city regardless of gender, nationality, experience, etc. with only ONE prerequisite : Passion. Commitment. Grit. Whatever you may call it,
